TaskForce is connecting young people living in Greater Dandenong with traineeships in the community sector.
If you're under 25, living in the City of Greater Dandenong and are not currently in education or employment, you're eligible to take part in the program. You'll be placed with a community organisation that you like the sound of and complete a paid, full-time traineeship, getting real job experience while earning an accredited Certificate IV in Community Services.
Host organisations might include youth services, homelessness services, agencies supporting people from specific cultural backgrounds or mental health services.
We’ll work with you to access any services you need, and overcome any barriers that might keep you from completing the program.
By the end of your traineeship you will have had 12 months full time experience, a Certificate IV in Community Services, and pathways to ongoing employment in the community sector.

Over 2019 and 2020 we will support 75 people who are not currently in education or employment to complete full time traineeships, achieving a Certificate IV in Community Services while working at a community agency.
