The Working Edge
Taskforce Working Edge was established in 1998, and grew out of the federal SkillShare network, which ran from 1989 until then.
Today Taskforce Working Edge is known and recognized as a most successful provider of pre-employment, training, support, placement and referral services for job seekers.
Working Edge Programs help participants to gain new skills and experiences that either help them progress into further education and training, and/or to find and keep employment. Our programs encompass
During recent years we have had an increasing focus on assisting disengaged young people, through the establishment of several key state and federally funded programs such as JPET, YTSI and Connections.
With successful bids for new service contracts we have established new sites too.
This growth has meant extra staff. Best of all Working Edge is able to assist extra numbers through additional programs or contracts, as well as extend and develop partnerships with other organisations.
