TaskForce is committed to developing relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Our key stakeholders include local, state and federal governments. They also include community based organisations, schools, adult education and training providers, and youth, health, housing and welfare support agencies. Program partners play a critical role in the success of the outcomes that we achieve at TaskForce.

For example:

  • Stepping up and Stepping out is a partnership between TaskForce, Odyssey House Victoria, Interact Australia and Youth projects in the delivery of transitional services for prisoners.
  • Our partnership with local GP’s and alternative health practitioners providing on site a broad range of clinical support services for people with a drug or alcohol problem.
  • We have on-going partnership arrangements with Prahran Neighbourhood House and the South Central Migrant Resource Centre in the delivery of work experience, education and training programs.
  • TaskForce is an active member of the Headspace consortia in both the Southern Metropolitan region of Melbourne and the Frankston-Mornington Peninsula. Headspace is is Australia's National Youth Mental Health Foundation. The headspace mission is to deliver improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young Australian’s aged 12-25.
  • In partnership with the Southern Health Dual Diagnosis Unit, TaskForce has recently established its dual diagnosis capacity building initiative.
