Education and training

TaskForce is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We offer nationally endorsed and recognised qualifications as well as a wide variety of short courses and niche programs. We have a variety of delivery methods including class room based, programs at your office or site, on-line, recognition of current competencies and blended learning.

Adult Community Education

TaskForce is an ACE provider and receive funding from the ACFE (Adult Community Further Education) Board to provide pre-accredited programs to Youth, Over 40’s, CALD, and people with disabilities with a focus on re-engagement and pathways to future education

Employers

We can personally tailor accredited and non accredited training to meet your individual organisational and departmental needs with a focus on increasing productivity, profit and staff well being. Our work includes:

• Education programs for employees and their families about drugs, alcohol and mental health (including our ‘bottle wise’ program focusing on binge drinking)
• Training for staff in mental health first aid
• Employee assistance support (including counselling and support services)

Job Services Australia

We provide a number of training programs for job seekers and people who are already employed, but who wish to gain new skills, up skill or refresh their skills! We can also provide specialist and accredited training in assessment and case management for your staff including motivational interviewing, cognitive behaviour therapy, first response- working with people with drug and alcohol issues and mental health first aid training

Community capacity building: Specalist drug and alcohol training

TaskForce has developed a range of training programs for professionals in non-related sectors. The training helps workers in other sectors better identify and respond to the complex issues that surround drug and alcohol use and mental health.
