FORENSIC

TaskForce Forensic Services provide a link between the community, police, courts and the drug treatment system. We provide a Drug and Alcohol assessment including drug use and related harms, drug treatment and support options to people who have come into contact with the criminal justice system. The service offers Counselling, Drug Diversion programs, Education Groups, Forensic Youth Outreach and referral to other treatment types.

Clients at risk with pending summons or court matters may be eligible for National Illicit Drug Strategy (NIDS diversion). We accept referrals from you, other agencies, courts, lawyers, police, GP’s and schools, etc.

People placed on a supervised corrections orders post Court can be referred for alcohol and drug counselling. The Community Offenders, Advice and Treatment, Services (COATS) will broker drug treatment... including the Court Referral Evaluation Drug Intervention, Treatment (CREDIT) and Court Integrated & Services Program (CISP)
