Family and friends support group
This is a group designed to assist family and friends who are effected by another’s drug/alcohol use. Some of the objectives are to learn how to communicate more effectively, be able to separate the drug using behaviour from the person, gain an understanding of how different drugs affect, and gain support and strength from others in a similar situation. This is an 8-week group, run by experienced alcohol and drug counsellors.
