YOUTH TRANSITION SUPPORT INITIATIVE

The TaskForce Youth Transition Support Initiative (YTSI) is a new free service for young people, aged 15 to 19. YTSI aims to help you get moving and going forward! YTSI can give you information, help and support.

We can help and support you in:

• Travel-Met Cards to be able to get to your training or job
• Vouchers-for clothing, food, work gear and mobile phone credits
• Stationary-help in purchasing materials for your study requirements
• Drivers License-support in sitting your Learners permit and driving lessons
• Educational Pathways-support you in your decisions in which course you want to do and register in those courses at Tafe, VCAL or school
• Training-to help you register in pre-apprenticeships courses, specialist courses or traineeships with financial support in payment of courses
• Counselling - to help organise counselling sessions with the specialist services in family, individual, anger management and drug and alcohol
• Employment - job search, interview techniques and resume writing
